This is for [info]fleshdress. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WONDERFUL THING ♥ ♥ ! I hope you enjoy. I've been wanting to write the story starting with that line, that had something of that idea, for months, and I finally got it to work when I tried to humbly write it for you (although all the Greekness was a spur-of-the moment thing) :D

For Achilles, jewellery ect explication, I offer Wikipedia.

Title: Practical Applications of the Classics
Summary: Sirius didn't do 'missing people' well.

Five Things Meme. Hit me. More than once, if you so wish :P

[info]whoeveryouwant7 and I were going through [info]baby_names (it's funny, ok?) and I came to the conclusion that I shall name a son of mine Thomas. If I can't name him Lucius, Severus or Darcy, then I can at least have a Tom. *schnookles baby Dark Lord*

I made icons, thought I'd show them off. Nothing too flash, but meh :P. And I don't know how to set them up pretty either, so bear with me and my dodginess.

4 x A Softer World (if you want these without the black ending, tell me)
1 x Perry Bible Fellowship
10 x Robert Sean Leonard (Dr Wilson) as Lupin (i only remembered after making all of these that remus has scars. shuddup.)
2 x Juliet
2 x boudoir woman

*cough* It's amazing how productive one can be when procrastinating...

Please comment if you're taking, or even if you're mildly indifferent! *g* And credit is nice.

Oh, and the friends-locking shall be gone soon enough, just as soon as I get around to it.

For a five year old

I fail at titles. This is for [info]whoeveryouwant7 , who requested a character study of Narcissa, with her reflecting upon the death of both husband and son. Admittedly, it's become a bit motherhood-oriented, but that may just be because I'm a bit overly maternal *cough*andbecauseneitherarestraight*cough*. Anyhow. I hope that I've done it justice. I don't know where the Rapunzel stuff came from, but I may yet expand on it. And I couldn't resist a Great Gatsby reference, sorry :P (I couldn't find my own copy, either, and had to resort to Google...oh, the horrors of misplacing books...I may have to clean my room properly.)

Also - Corpse Bride mood theme! *g*

Title: For a five year old
Summary: They let her have a room to herself.
Rating: PG-13

Thing the first: [info]softlyforgotten     said that the Black brothers were born to play the violin. I agree.

P.S. Read Detroit Annie, Hitchhiking.

Title: People who cannot walk on water are phonies, or dead.
Summary: The strings of the violin thrummed and shook.
Rating: PG-13
Words: 249

Thing the second: Meme. Amusing. I like it :D

Thing the third: Skyhawke is prejudiced against long titles, and titles with apostrophes in them.

Thing the fourth: There was an episode of Insight (a repeat - end, oh non-ratings period, this scourge is more than what can be borne!) about happiness. I'm happier than I was last year. Which may seem a bit crass, but I was a bit maudlin. Now, all is good. *glows* ♥ for all.

Thing the fifth: All people involved in House and Supernatural fandoms:

Thing the sixth: What do we reckon is more likely - that Maxine Nevine will get John Howard's seat, or that Barrack Obama will become US President?

For my birthday, my brother got me Grinderman, a collaboration of Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos. I'm not sure if 'Grinderman' is just the name of the album, or the band name as well...but I'm sure the music's good.

No Pussy Blues

And [info]whoeveryouwant7   gave me 101 Poems Against War. Have three. Not necessarily my favourites - I don't have them yet - but ones worth sharing.

Ok, PIMPAGE! [info]whoeveryouwant7 has entered the world of fic-writing, in very great style. Anything that has been beta'd in this journal has been beta'd by her, and so she deserves much much praise. Not to mention being absolutely wonderful, and sekritly being a wonderful writer too (although I should have known from earlier, un-fic samples of her work.)

SO - Dentist!Snape! You know you want to. It starts out with delectable details, which set the mood for the sarcasm and satire to come rolling out, in wonderful Snape style. And a yum ending. Yup, go read, tis a lovely drabble.

I haven't updated in quite a while. This is somewhat remiss of me. The muse has decided to go off to Ibiza or something, so I'm left here re-working old drabbles. Being-mean-to-Neville time again, it seems. Poor guy.

Poll drabble (yes, I know, it's been ages, but I'll get to them all eventually) for [info]la_onza   . This was an odd, burst of the moment thing, and I didn't even realise until the second paragraph which ship I was writing. I didn't even realise until then that it would be more than just an anthropomorphic personification, and that an actual person would be discussed. Yes, I am odd. I hope you like it!

Title: Vespers
Summary: Nightly worship.
Rating: PG
Words: 220

ETA: I forgot that there are a fair few people who can't stand Snarry, and I don't know if you're one of them, [info]la_onza.  If this is  the case,  let me know, and I'll  fix it :D

It's the cats that catch the rats

I wrote this one aaaages ago, but I was worried it was really overly angsty and odd, so I let it stew for a while. Came back to it today, and didn't really change anything after all. Hehe. But anyhow, enjoy.

Title: It's the cats that catch the rats
Summary: Each time they come into contact with the real, they are bruised and wounded.

This is [info]knightin_gayle's poll drabble. Technically, it's original, but you can just substitute most pairings into the roles, and it should work, if you really want fandomness :P Hope you like the little bit of fluff, [info]knightin_gayle!

Title: You smell like sunshine in the morning
Summary: The day's to-do list.
Rating: G
Words: 201

And, because I suck (and am forgettful), I only now post the CORRECT French of the French drabblet I did for [info]eloiselovelace's cunning foreign language fics fest. It is provided by the wonderful [info]eriathwen_bob, may she long live! So if anyone has a great desire for grammatically correct French, it is there. :D

Time Warp/ yay-you-did-the-poll drabble for [info]eloiselovelace  ! It is, kind of, a pre-History fic, in that it took place a long time before it, as it's set back when Remus and Sirius were still at school...errr...well, it's in the same universe! :P Hope you like it.

And - OMG FLUFF! *has apoplexy from shock*

Title is a bastardised line from Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Sonnet 43.

Title: Let Me Count the Days
Summary: It took twenty-two days for Sirius to tell Remus that he loved him.
Rating: PG

For [info]softlyforgotten    , who did the poll. Will write more for the others promptly.

Title: This Is Just to Say
Summary: Straight from the fridge.
Rating: PG-13
Words: 333

It's three sentences. But still. [info]eloiselovelace    wants everyone to start writing fics in other languages. I obliged. (It's very grammatically incorrect probly, and written without a dictionary.)

Title: Aimer et Adorer (aka The French Thing)
Summary: Ginny Weasly n'aime pas Pansy Parkinson. Ginny Weasly doesn't like Pansy Parkinson.
Rating: G
Words: 57

AAAAND, look what [info]orgasmicspork    drew for me!! *excited* It's so pretty! *huggles pic and spork*

And you can see the whole lot of her I'm-bored-request-a-sketch here. They're gorgeous.

Gacked from [info]fleshdress 's journal:

Meme: Give me the title of one of my own fics and a timestamp -- either a future moment in time after the story's conclusion, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll tell you what happened. For example, you could choose a timestamp of five minutes before the story began, or a timestamp of ten years in the future.

Also (because polls are fun and I want to know):

Poll #921009
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 7

How much to write?

View Answers

Lots of drabbles and ficlets, with a rare fic
3 (42.9%)

A lesser amount of ficlets and fics, with some drabbles
1 (14.3%)

Whatever you want (which in the end is probly like checking the first box, so you may as well pick one)
3 (42.9%)

Please vote, even if you never/hardly ever comment, I'm interested in who actually reads this, and who friended just cause I friended them. No repercussions either way, obviously, am just curious.

[except you may get a drabble if you vote :P]

The tags don't lie. Really, it is Severus. Only, maybe very very OOC...which is something I usually highly disapprove of, but this just came out of nowhere. You may not want to read it if you not in the mood for pretentious, post modern pseudo poetry...hey, look, alliteration. (Gah, exam for English tutoring is three hours long, and it's on The Journey, and grammar, and literary theory and criticism. Yes, I did theoretically study the latter not 6 months ago, but still...I hope I pass. The pay should be good.)

Title: Twinkle for me, Baby
Summary: Lily strung up in stars.

For [info]eloiselovelace   , who is super cool and helpful, even when my problems maybe are non-existant. ♥

It was so tempting to summarise this as "Cause Fleur is preeeetty. And Percy thinks so too." But I resisted.

Problem! Whenever I click on someone's pretty, shiny image, tryong to get to the bigger, Photobucket image, it takes me to this page! I log in, but it just takes me to my albums, and when I log in and *then* try to look at pictures, the same thing as before happens. I'm sick of it! Please, some one, help, and I'll write you a drabble!
